Fueling a Southern Soul Turns 1! Anniversary Celebration
September 1st marked Fueling a Southern Soul's 1st birthday! A year of publishings recipes on Monday's. A year of growth, learning and teaching myself new things. A year of starting something I have been dreaming about for a long time. A year of pushing past the doubts and "does this even matter" thoughts, because I know it does and will. A year of dishes, kitchen messes, loads of dirty towels and some recipe fails.

But it's also been a year of so much goodness. Thank you for following along with me. Thank you for caring and for making the recipes. Thank you for reading the posts, liking the pictures and watching the videos. Thank you for being engaged and involved.
This is all for you. To share my love of cooking, baking and sharing it with others. It's a way I can express my deep passion for hospitality to you and show you that ANYONE is capable. It is my way of saying "I see you, come over and let me feed you." It has been my way to share that homemade isn't difficult or scary and everyone can do it. It's because of food matters. People matter. Your life matters. And this is just my small part in this story.
So to celebrate I am starting a new series called Come to the Table. It's about everything I just described above. All about coming around a table with friends and family for a good meal. It's about sharing life with each other around the table. I truly believe that some of life's sweetest memories are around food and sharing it with others. This is why I started this blog. This is my passion, my love and what I want to share with the world.
I can't thank you enough for this year. I love each and every one of you and wish I could personally hug and thank you in person (some I can...yay!). Be sure to watch the video down below about the new series starting Tuesday, September 4th. I hope you enjoy this series and I am so excited for what this next year brings.
“The heart of hospitality is about creating space for someone to feel seen and heard and loved. It's about declaring your table a safe zone, a place of warmth and nourishment.”
