    July Wine Down Wednesday

    July Wine Down Wednesday

Ok. Stop. How is July over already? I am really not sure and I’m sad about it. Summer is going by way too fast and I still need pool time, sunshine and Rosé all day!

Well, lets just catch up about this month and how it flew by. Pour yourself a glass of Rosé and we can talk through all things in July Wine Down Wednesday!

    4th of July

The 4th is one go my favorite holidays of all time! I want wear all the red, white and blue things as well and make all my food in an American Flag pattern. I obviously made my fruit pizza and proudly took it to our friends home where we had a pool party - that consisted of everyone bringing a kiddie pool with them since none of us actually have our own pools YET lol.

It is a blast and the best day celebrating our great country!

You can grab the recipe here - this can 100% be made all year around but it's perfect for all the American holidays!

    Our anniversary

Since we are on the theme of time going by fast - lets just go ahead and talk about how Justin and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary this month. 7! I really don’t know how that is possible. It feels like it was just yesterday that it I made the best decision of my life and it has just continued to get better and better each year!

We played it a little low key this year. Stayed in one night with an incredible cheese board and wine and talked through one of our favorite games right now, Table Topics (highly recommend! It’s not really a game, more so a conversation starter but we have loved going through these just the 2 of us and with some friends as well - they have all different kinds on Amazon. Family, Couples, Dinner Party-which is the one we have. Click on any of them to order right from Amazon *affiliate link*).

Then of course you know we had to go get brunch at LeMoo. The only place in Lou to eat brunch at. Hands down the best brunch food in town and you can wash it all down with a mimosa the size of your face for $3! It’s everything and literally one of my favorite places to go! We promptly went home and slept off our food coma and relaxed the rest of the day.

It was good day 🙂 Marriage is the best!

    Dinner Parties

We have enjoyed several nights at friends home and vice versa enjoying dinner and time together. This is one of my most favorite things in the world - inviting people into our home to place their feet under our table and love them through good food, good drinks and good conversations (or getting to go do that somewhere else). It makes my heart and soul so very happy!

Enjoying homemade pizza night at the Dixon's! I have coached along side D for 7 years and we adore him and Mrs. Dixon!

“The heart of hospitality is about creating space for someone to feel seen and heard and loved. It's about declaring your table a safe zone, a place of warmth and nourishment.”

July was a good month. I finally felt a little relief and was able to enjoy the goodness of summer. Breathing in some time to relax but focus and get some really incredible things accomplished - which I can’t wait to share with you soon!

I want to hear all about your month! Tell me in the comments below. We still have one more month of summer time and I am soaking up every last second.
