How to Make Sweet Potato Fries

Potatoes. You can't go wrong. Ever.

Justin and I usually eat the same couple recipes each week. They are simple, healthy and can be made in big batches. I make enough to eat on throughout the week and that works really well for our busy schedules and late nights. Sweet potato fries are one of those staples.

    Seasoned sweet potato fries

They are my preferred potato of them all (well you can't really compete with a loaded baked potato but these hold their own). Sweet potatoes are packed full of beta-carotene, vitamin C, B vitamins, potassium, fiber and a beautiful complex carbohydrate.

All that needs to be done is wash, slice or dice, season and bake. Easy as 1, 2, 3 (&4). We prefer cinnamon and pink sea salt but toss on whichever spices you like--savory or sweet. Bake until the desired doneness and you have a healthy carb source for all week.

Enjoy them by themselves, tossed on a salad, together with other roasted veggies or even mixed in with white roasted potatoes. I like to drizzle mine with local honey, it's my absolute favorite! Justin likes his either plain or dipped in homemade honey mustard. Any way you choose to enjoy them is a good way.

Make your week easier and pop some of these in the oven tonight!
