Quick and Easy Garden Fresh Salsa is simple and delicious bursting with all of the summer flavors! Ditch the store-bought bottles and be surprised at how quick and easy it is to make your own!
Ingredients

- 1/2 Cup Cilantro (1 small bunch)
- 2 Cloves of Garlic
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 1-2 Jalapeños ** (seeds removed)
- 6-8 Roma Tomatoes - quatered and seeds removed
- 1 Chiptole Pepper**
- Juice of 1/2 Lime
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
- Pinch of Freshly Cracked Black Pepper
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cumin
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
Instructions
- In a food processor add in cilantro, garlic, onion, and jalapeno.
- Pulse to roughly chop together.
- Add in quatered and seeds removed roma tomatoes. By removing the seeds of the tomato, it helps keep down the water/juice content in salsa.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients along with the tomatoes - chiptole, lime juices and spices.
- Pulse until all blended together and to desidred chunkiness.
- Pour in 2 - 12 ounce mason jars. Seal and store in fridge until ready to enjoy!
Notes
- Note: depending on the spice level you like is how many jalapenos and chipotle peppers you should add. If you like your salsa with a kick - add in 2 jalapenos and 1 chipotle pepper. For a milder flavor just add 1 jalapeno and 1 chipotle. If you are not a fan of spice, remove the chipotle all together and just add 1 small jalapeno.
