Y'all, this bourbon praline sauce is a decadent treat that comes together on the stovetop in just 10 minutes. It's a rich caramel base made from butter, brown sugar, and heavy cream with pecans and Kentucky bourbon stirred in. It’s perfect as a dip poured over cream cheese or drizzled over your favorite desserts, like cheesecake, apple pie, or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon bourbon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- Pinch of salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, add the brown sugar, cream, and butter to a medium-sized saucepan. Turn on medium and bring to a low boil. Whisk every so often.
- Once at a boil, cook for 3 minutes, whisking every 30 seconds or so. When the time is up - remove from the heat.
- Stir in the chopped pecans, bourbon, vanilla bean paste, salt, and nutmeg. Whisk until everything is combined.
- Pour into a mason jar and let cool slightly before using.
