Description

If you grew up dunking little crackers into little containers of Funfetti frosting, this play on Dunkaroo dip is about to bring back all the childhood memories! Made with just 7 ingredients, including cream cheese, butter, and cream. This cold and creamy funfetti frosting dip comes together in just 5 minutes and is perfect for serving with animal crackers or Teddy Grahams. It's a nostalgic treat that's just as fun for grown-ups as it is for little kids.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese - softened
  • ½ cup butter - softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ounce round confetti sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese and butter. Using a hand mixer, beat for 60 seconds, until smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla bean paste, and salt. Beat for 2 to 3 minutes - it will become light and fluffy. Mixing for this time is key to getting the frosting the right fluffy consistency.
  3. Fold in the sprinkles using a spatula until evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve immediately with animal crackers, or Teddy Grahams -  or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Keep leftovers stored airtight in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • This can be made a day in advance - just stir in the sprinkles right before serving to prevent the colours from bleeding into the dip.
