Description
Brioche french toast is a classic breakfast favorite that we all love. Eggy brioche bread soaked in a custard filling and cooked to a crisped to perfection on the outside.

- 8 Pieces of Sliced Brioche Bread
- 4 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1/2 Cup Cream*
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Butter - melted
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
- 1/4 Teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl add in the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, butter, cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk well until everything is combined.
- Place a large skillet on the stove over medium-low heat. Add a tablespoon of butter to the skillet. (Keep adding more butter if needed to keep the skillet nonstick)
- Dip 1 piece of brioche into the egg mixture. Let soak for 5-10 seconds on each side.
- Immediately place in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side then flip and cook for a couple more minutes until each side is lightly golden brown.
- Repeat with all pieces.
- Enjoy with powdered sugar, maple syrup, and fresh berries.
