Description

Elevate your appetizer game with these Quick Homemade Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls! A delightful twist on the classic Southern favorite, these savory bites are perfect for any occasion, from brunches to tailgates and holiday parties. Made with a combination of Bisquick, pork sausage, cheddar cheese, and diced pimentos and baked in the oven for 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 Pound Pork Sausage
  • 4 Cups Cheddar Cheese - grated
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 4 Teaspoons Diced Pimentos - drained
  • 1 Teaspoon Worseshire Sauce
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl. Using your hands is best to fully mix everything since it is a heavy and thick dough. You can also place it in a stand mixer and mix it that way.
  3. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out into 1-inch balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top. Remove and enjoy.

Notes

  • Sausage balls can be enjoyed warm, room temperature, or even cold. Makes for a great and easy appetizer!
  • You can use gluten-free Bisquick to make gluten-free. Use the exact same measurements for everything.
