Homemade whipped cream is incredibly easy to make, using just 2 ingredients: powdered sugar and heavy cream. Whisked together in an ice-cold bowl with a stand mixer, it takes only 5 minutes to create a light and fluffy treat that's perfect for a variety of desserts and sweet treats. It's way better than store-bought, you'll never go back!

Ingredients

– 1 quart of heavy whipping cream – 2 cups powdered sugar

STEP ONE: 1. Place a metal whisk and beater in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour until nice and cold. When ready to make, take the bowl and whisk out of the freezer and attach it to your stand mixer. Pour in whipping cream, cover with a tea towel, and beat on high for 1-2 minutes or until soft peaks start forming.

STEP TW:. Add 1 cup of powdered sugar. Cover with a tea towel and whisk on high for 30 seconds.

STEP THREE: Scrape the sides of the bowl, add the last cup of powdered sugar, place the tea towel back on, and whisk on high for 1-2 more minutes or until soft but firm peaks are formed.

STEP FOUR: Scrape down the sides and wrap the top in plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
