For the cocktail lover in your life, blow them away with this orange and thyme old fashion through sous vide bourbon infusion!

– 8 Ounces Bourbon - use your favorite drinking bourbon – 1 Sprig of Fresh Thyme – 4 Teaspoons Sugar – Juice and Peel from ½ Orange

1. Heat a water bath up to 150 degrees using sous vide. 2. Combine all the ingredients in a mason jar sealed to just fingertip tightness.

3. Place in the sous vide bath and cook for 1 hour. 4. Once finished, strain the bourbon infusion into a clean mason jar or capped liquid container. Store in the fridge to chill.

To enjoy, pour over ice with an orange peel, a dash of bitters, and a splash of extra bourbon if you like it strong.
