Description
Homemade whipped cream is incredibly easy to make, using just 2 ingredients: powdered sugar and heavy cream. Whisked together in an ice-cold bowl with a stand mixer, it takes only 5 minutes to create a light and fluffy treat that's perfect for a variety of desserts and sweet treats. It's way better than store-bought, you'll never go back!

- 1 quart of heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Place a metal whisk and beater in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour until nice and cold.
- When ready to make, take the bowl and whisk out of the freezer and attach it to your stand mixer. Pour in whipping cream, cover with a tea towel, and beat on high for 1-2 minutes or until soft peaks start forming.
- Add 1 cup of powdered sugar. Cover with a tea towel and whisk on high for 30 seconds.
- Scrape the sides of the bowl, add the last cup of powdered sugar, place the tea towel back on, and whisk on high for 1-2 more minutes or until soft but firm peaks are formed.
- Scrape down the sides and wrap the top in plastic wrap. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
