Description

Y'all, we all love an effortless dinner! This maple dijon salmon is as easy as it is elegant; perfect for a busy weeknight family dinner or elevated enough for a dinner party with friends. Just brush your fillets with a mix of Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and a few pantry spices, then bake at 375° for 20 minutes until it's flaky and tender. Pair it with rice and a simple veggie, and supper’s on the table for four in no time. This is a Fueling a Southern Soul reader favorite for good reason!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 Pounds of Salmon
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • Green Onions, Lemon Wedges, and Sesame Seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Line a baking sheet with foil and place the salmon on top.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk to combine the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic cloves, smoked paprika, pepper, and salt.
  4. Pour the mixture over the top of the salmon and spread it out evenly to coat.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes. The internal temperature should be 145 degrees, and the salmon will be tender and flaky.
  6. Remove and sprinkle with green onions on top, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
