These Cheesy Green Onion Sausage Balls made with Kodiak Cakes are the perfect appetizer to bring to a brunch or any party. With bold flavors your friends will be begging you for more!

  • 1 Pound Ground Pork Sausage
  • 12 Ounce Bag of Cheddar Cheese (1 bag )*
  • 1 1/2 Cups Kodiak Cakes All Purpose Baking Mix
  • 3/4 Teaspoon White Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 Bunch of Green Onions
  • 1/2 Cup Milk +

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Finely slice green onions.
  3. In a large bowl add in all ingredients except milk. Using your hands (I like to wear gloves), mix all ingredients thoroughly. It will take a couple of minutes. Really massage all ingredients together.
  4. Add in milk and mix again until all the ingredients form together in a dough. You may need a splash more of milk if the mixture is still dry and baking mix is still not combined.
  5. Either using your hands or a cookie scoop, form balls and place in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool. Enjoy!

  1. Sausage Balls will keep in the fridge for up to a week.
  2. You can also freeze the balls once cooked, store in a freezer safe ziplock bag and store for 6-9 months. To thaw either allow to defrost in the fridge for 2 days or place in a 350-degree oven for 10 minutes until warmed.
  3. You may use any bag of cheese you have or desire - doesn't have to be cheddar.
