Description

These Southern-style sausage balls are utterly irresistible! With only 5 ingredients—ground pork sausage, grated cheddar cheese, milk, Italian seasoning and Bisquick baking mix—they're a breeze to make. Formed into bite-sized balls and oven-baked, they're juicy, flavorful, and SO delicious whether served warm, at room temperature, or even cold!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 Cups Bisquick Baking Mix
  • 1 Pound Pork Sausage
  • 4 Cups Cheddar Cheese - grated
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Teaspoon Italian Seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir all ingredients together in a large bowl. Using your hands is best to fully mix everything since it is a heavy and thick dough. You can also place it in a stand mixer and mix it that way.
  3. Using a cookie scoop, scoop out into 1 inch balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top. Remove and enjoy.

Notes

  • Sausage balls can be enjoyed warm, room temperature, or even cold. Making for a great and easy appetizer!
  • You can use gluten-free Bisquick to make gluten-free. Use the exact same measurements for everything.
