- 8 Ounces Bourbon - use your favorite drinking bourbon
- 1 Sprig of Fresh Thyme
- 4 Teaspoons Sugar
- Juice and Peel from ½ Orange
Instructions
- Heat a water bath up to 150 degrees using sous vide.
- Combine all the ingredients in a mason jar sealed to just fingertip tightness.
- Place in the sous vide bath and cook for 1 hour.
- Once finished, strain the bourbon infusion into a clean mason jar or capped liquid container. Store in the fridge to chill.
- To enjoy, pour over ice with an orange peel, a dash of bitters, and a splash of extra bourbon if you like it strong.
