Description
This whole grain french toast is made with ezekiel bread or sprouted whole grain bread. The bread is dipped in a mixture of almond milk, cinnamon, and eggs before being pan-fried until golden brown. Finish this whole-grain french toast with fresh berries and a drizzle of honey or maple syrup before serving!

- 8 Pieces of Sprouted Bread or Ezekiel Bread
- 8 Eggs
- 1/2 Cup Whole Milk
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
- Butter - for skillet
Toppings
- fresh berries
- honey
- maple syrup
- powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and cinnamon until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
- Soak 1 piece of bread at a time in the egg mixture while you heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Once the pan is heated add a pad of butter and place the first piece in a skillet.
- Cook on each side for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown and middle is cooked through.
- Repeat with there's of the bread, adding more butter to the skillet as needed to prevent sticking.
- Enjoy with fresh berries, local honey, maple syrup, or any topping you desire!
