Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Butter OR 1 Homemade Butter Recipe - softened/room temperature 
  • 1/4 Cup Finely Grated Parmesan
  • 2 Green Onions - finely sliced, white and green tips
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Add softened butter to a medium-sized bowl.
  2. With a microplane or fine cheese grater, grate parmesan and add to the bowl.
  3. Finely chop the white ends and green tops of the green onions and add to the butter.
  4. Last, add freshly cracked black pepper. Mix until everything is combined and evenly distributed throughout the butter.
  5. Place in an airtight container or roll into a log shape in parchment paper and store in the fridge until needed.

Notes

  • Keep covered in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
  • To freeze, place in an airtight freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 6 months. Place in the fridge for 24 hours to thaw before using.
