Chocolate Chex marshmallow bars are the answer to your easy chocolate dessert prayers! You're just a few simple ingredients away from these yummy, chewy, Chex marshmallow bars.

We all love fun and simple dessert. Chocolate Chex marshmallow bars are just that!

Think Rice Kripsie treats but with chocolate and Chex cereal instead. They are so good!

    Ingredients Needed

    • ½ Cup Butter
    • 10 Ounce Marshammlows
    • 6 Cups Chocolate Chex Cereal

    How To Make

    1. Spray a 9x13 baking pan with non-stick spray.
    2. Add butter and marshmallows to a large pot. Set on the stove on medium heat. Stir constantly until the butter melts and is mixed in with marshmallows. The marshmallow mixture will be silky smooth and it will take about 5 minutes.
    3. Remove from the heat and add in the Chex cereal. Stir constantly until the marshmallow mixture evenly covers the chocolate Chex cereal.
    4. Pour into the greased baking pan and press down firmly. Let cool and set for 5-10 minutes.
    5. Cut into 12 squares and enjoy!

PRO TIP: when spreading the marshmallow Chex bars into the pan, spray your spatula with non-stick spray to help you spread them out. The marshmallows are obviously very sticky and can be difficult to speed without sticking to everything. Spraying non-stick spray on the spatula will help.

Can I Use Another Cereal Other Than Chex?

Sure! Any Chex cereal can be subbed in (in which it obviously wouldn't have the chocolate flavor anymore).

Peanut butter Chex would be so good! I am going to try that next.
