How to Prep the Chicken Nuggets
All you will need is some boneless skinless chicken breast or tenderloins. Cut them up into bite-size nuggets pieces and season with salt and pepper. Then you are going to dunk the bites in a bowl of whisked eggs so that they will stick to the whole wheat panko mixture.
Place on a baking sheet and bake. That's it! Less than 10 ingredients for the whole recipe!

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 2 Pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast or Tenderloins
- 2 Cups Whole Wheat Panko Crumbs
- 1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 3 Eggs
- Salt and Pepper
For the Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Butter - melted
- ½ Cup Hot Sauce
- 3-4 Tablespoons Honey
Instructions
For the Chicken
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- With clean hands, cut the chicken into bite-size nuggets pieces and add to a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper, making sure to coat each piece.
- In a bowl add in 3 eggs and whisk until beaten.
- In another large bowl, add in panko crumbs and garlic powder, mixing to combine.
- Line a baking sheet with foil, parchment paper, or a silicone mat.
- Take the chicken and dip it into the eggs, a coating on all sides. Place in the panko mixture and coat all sides evenly. Place on baking sheet.
- Repeat until all nuggets are coated in egg wash then in panko crumbs.
- Place in oven and bake for 20 - 25 minutes until chicken is tender and the outside is golden brown.
- Allow to cool and enjoy with honey buffalo sauce!
For the Sauce
- Place butter in a microwave-safe bowl and melt. Add in hot sauce and honey and whisk to combine everything.
- Serve in a bowl alongside chicken nuggets bites
