Ok y'all - I live with a BIG chocolate fan. My husband has the sweet tooth in the family (I mean, the toddler never says no either...we really had to cut him off the dunkaroo dip lol), and I couldn't do this summer cold dip series without having a chocolately something in there for him.
This one is so easy. Rich and smooth and creamy. Made in just 1 bowl with staple baking ingredients, and it makes a perfect no-bake dessert to serve at any party - or really just to enjoy at home with all of your favorite people. 🙂
⭐️ Before you start - pro tip ⭐️ make sure you set your cream cheese AND butter out on the counter to soften for at least 30 minutes before you begin. This will make it WAY easier to mix and make it really smooth and creamy. Have I not done this and mixed cold? Yes. Have I not done this and stuck them both in the microwave and melted slightly? Yes. Do these things still work and taste the same? Yes. But you will never get the smooth, no-lump texture that room-temperature butter and cream cheese will give you. Trust me, I know from too many lazy times 😉
