If there's one thing you can count on at a Southern gathering, it's a table full of good food and at least one irresistible dip. This easy 5-Layer Taco Dip checks every box with seasoned refried beans, sour cream, pre-made guacamole (hello easy button!), salsa, and freshly grated cheddar cheese. It comes together in just minutes, is served cold, and is the kind of recipe everyone gathers around before the meal even begins.

How are we coming to the close of summer?! I seriously hate it. I wish summer would last forever. The pool days. The sun is not setting until 9:30. Crisp rose on the back porch with friends. And ALL. THE. DIPS. 😜
Ok, maybe a little overly dramatic about the cold dips, but seriously. Making all of these this summer has been so fun. I don't know if I can pick a favorite (still really eating up the pickle dip though - it may be my new identity y'all), but goodness, I love a Mexican layer dip!
In true fashion to the rules of this series (easy, fast, no cooking, served cold, and 100% irresitble) - I kept everything so simple, but that doesn't mean it lacks any flavor - let me show you!
*full transparency - I used this deep clear, small round bowl to get good pictures of all the layers here BUT this is best made in a more shallow 8x8 baking dish so that when you scoop, you get a bite of all the layers.

Description
If there's one thing you can count on at a Southern gathering, it's a table full of good food and at least one irresistible dip. It comes together in just minutes, is served cold, and is the kind of recipe everyone gathers around before the meal even begins.

- Add the taco seasoning to the beans and mix until fully combined.
- Spread the seasoned refried beans into an even layer in the bottom of a 8x8 inch serving dish.
- Evenly spread the sour cream over the bean layer, taking it all the way to the edges.
- Spread the guacamole over the sour cream in an even layer.
- Spoon the salsa evenly over the guacamole.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Serve immediately with your favorite tortilla chips, or cover and refrigerate for up to 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Use any brand of your liking and preference for the ingredients. I like and use the following: Siete refried beans, Siete Taco Seasoning, Daisy sour cream, and Mateo red salsa.
