    Description

    Classic Beef Chili is the perfect meal to warm you up during the cold winter months. Topped with all your favorite chili toppings and is so delicious thanks to award-winning Red Gold tomatoes.


    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 2 pounds lean ground beef
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 1 (46 ounce) can Red Gold® Fresh Squeezed Tomato Juice 46 oz
    • 1 (15 ounce) can Red Gold® Tomato Sauce 15 oz
    • 1 (14.5 ounce) can Red Gold® Chili Ready Diced Tomatoes 14.5 oz
    • 2 (15 ounce) cans chili hot beans
    • 2 tablespoons chili powder
    • ¼ teaspoon red pepper
    • ½ teaspoon black pepper
    • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
    • 1 teaspoon cumin
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    Instructions

    1. In a large soup kettle, brown ground beef, and onion; drain well. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    2. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve with cheese and crackers.
    3. Option: Add 1 cup cooked macaroni when chili is ready to serve.
