4 ingredient apple dip is a super easy sweet treat perfect for the fall! Made in 5 minutes and in one bowl, this a perfect chilled dip served with crisp apple slices that will be loved by all.

The thing I love most about recipes, besides sharing them with others, is the stories behind them. Where they come from. Who gave you the recipe. The memory that pops up when you make it.

Those things I love so much! And it's why I love sharing recipes my moms has passed down to me like fluffy buttermilk biscuits, or her homemade pie crust that is perfect for her apple pie. This whole blog is abour sharing my love for food in hopes it helps you welcome people into your own home to love them around the table with these recipes.

We have some sweet dear friends who live in Kansas so we don't get to see them as often as we would like, but anytime we have gone to their home to visit, Kelsey always makes this apple dip as a snack and treat.

It's requested and anticipated every time and I have been lucky enough to be grandfathered into the tradition when I married Justin. It also just isn't called apple dip - Justin and Brent, her husband, like to say "apper dip" in an accent that is not easily translated via typing. 😂

I asked Kelsey if I could share her cream cheese dip for apples recipe and she graciously said yes. So this is her treat that we love to enjoy and think about them when we make it. It is sweet and creamy, only needs 1 bowl, 4 pantry and fridge staple ingredients, and is so easy to make. It makes for the perfect afternoon snack, appetizer (hello adding this to a charcuterie board 😍), to serve at a bridal shower, or after-dinner dessert.

    Ingredients Needed

Just 4 pantry and fridge staple ingredients are needed for this easy cream cheese apple dip recipe:

    • Cream Cheese - recommended to use full fat for this recipe for the best flavor.
    • Brown Sugar
    • Sugar
    • Vanilla Bean Paste* - I always use Nielson Massey Vanilla Bean paste in all my baking recipes. It yields such a much richer vanilla flavor in my opinion. You can use regular vanilla extract as well.
Cleat bowls on vanilla, cream cheese, sugar, and brown sugar on a white table.

    How to Make

Add ingredients to a bowl: In a bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Beat with a hand mixer until smooth, creamy, and no lumps remain.

A block of softened cream cheese in a large bowl.
Add softened cream cheese or a large bowl.
Whipped cream cheese blended by a mixing in a bowl.
Beat for 60 seconds with a hand mixer to whip and fluff up.

Mix: Add in the sugars and vanilla. Beat for 60 seconds or until everything is combined and the mixture is smooth, creamy, and fluffy. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with sliced apples.

Brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, and whipped cream cheese in a bowl.
Add in the sugars and vanilla.
Mixing together apple dip in a clear bowl.
Mix on high for 60 seconds and until smooth, creamy, and no lumps remain.

PRO TIP: This cordless Kitchen Aide hand mixer is my new FAVORITE kitchen appliance! Say bye bye to a messy cord that gets in the way always - this is what hand mixer dreams are made of - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! *affiliate link*

    Other Dipping Ideas

I love making this recipe in the fall when apples are getting into their peak season. Honeycrisps are my personal favorite, but any of your favorite apple varieties would work totally fine.

Other ideas to use as dippers could be:

    • ginger snaps
    • animal crackers
    • graham crackers
    • vanilla wafers
    • honey pretzel twists
    • other fruits such as bananas, strawberries, grapes, pineapples

There are no rules! Use anything you want!

    Frequently Asked Questions

How to Store 4 Ingredient Apple Dip Leftovers?

Keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.

Can I Make Cream Cheese Apple Dip Ahead of Time?

Absolutely! You can make a day in advance if needed. Just store air tight in the fridge.

Can I Use Low-Fat or Non-Fat Cream Cheese?

It is best to use full fat cream cheese in the recipe for the best flavor. You could use low-fat if desired, it just will result in a slightly different taste. I do not recommend using non-fat cream cheese.
